Basic Definition
Your telephone and sometimes a computer are all you need to take advantage of the long-distance learning series offered through ADE. All of our classes are interactive so you can (if you wish) participate in the class to enhance your learning experience. Class content varies from creative to business - all designed to support your professional development. Both audial and visual materials are used in concert when needed.
TeleClass
Teleclasses are easy to attend... all you need is a telephone! Simply call a class specific phone number, then sit back and relax while you enjoy learning from your instructor. Teleclasses are also interactive. You can talk with the instructor and other students during the call. You may also receive study materials in document that references a specific topic, or may be used as a worksheet during and after class.
TeleWorkshop
Just like teleclasses, all you need to do is dial in and listen to your instructor. You can also talk with the instructor and fellow students to further enchance your learning experience. The only differences between a teleclass and a teleworkshop are that teleworkshops take place over a period of time instead of one specific time. Additional study materials are sent to each student prior to each class date.
TeleSeminar
A teleseminar allows to call in and listen to the presenter and/or moderator who then presents a specific topic to the audience. Sometimes (just like the ADE teleseminars) the moderator and presenter interact in a more conversational format. After the teleseminar, the lines are then opened up for general discussion.
Webinar
In some cases, more visuals are needed in order to process the information you are learning about. Not only will you listen to an instructor deliver the topic material over the telephone, you will be prompted to view your computer screen throughout the call. Beautiful pictures, fun graphics and additional study materials will appear on your screen to help support the content you're listening to.

Do you have to be a member of ADE in order to take classes?
No, you do not need to be a member. Our classes are formatted and chosen to appeal to a variety of audiences including the design professional and the consumer.
I want to learn how to decorate my home. Do you offer classes for me?
Yes. We offer a variety of creative classes for the homeowner and decorating junkie! In fact, we're always looking for new classes just for you. (Please feel free to drop us a line to request class topics.) If you do not find a class that interests you, please take a peak at what our Education Affiliates are up to. (And don't forget to check out the ADE blog for a myriad of design tips and tricks!)
How much does each class cost?
Every class is priced individually based on the content and class length. In addition to the cost of each class, long distance phone charges may also apply. Please check with your long distance carrier for details.
